June 2nd- Eh...maybe we'll reform. We don't want it to die yet. We'll see. things are up in the air
---------------------------------
May 16th- The show at Al Capp's wasn't our best. It seems as thought Fun Points for Jimmy has come to and end. I think we ended quite some time ago, though. We just held on for this last show hoping that some glory would show through, alas it didn't. Time moves on and so do we. We only wanted to play for the love of music and for fun...and maybe we would be able to entertain a few people. I see that we got out to some. Mark and Dave started a new band. Mike wants to go to college. Nick still wants to rock and roll but still needs clean socks and Mandie is gonna get fat and be an opera singer and retire within 5 years of her career. (it's a good plan, the fatter u are..the more you get paid) those words I chose came back to me, I know. Anyway. Thanks for those of you that had happy birthday parties and let us play in your backyard. Thank you for those who listened to us. Thank you for going to our few shows. Thank you and goodnight.

April 13th- <Damien's Battle of the Bands> Nick decided he was going to Vegas this weekend and told us that he couldn't play so we got a replacement right away, Jojo. He learned all our songs in 3 hours and we didn't screw up. Thanks Jojo! In Any event. It really sucked cuz all the bands took up a lot of time during sound checks and we went on first...without our sound check and with barely 10 minutes to play. They cut us short, I think all the bands each got 20 or 25 minutes. That was a gyp. It was fun though. We Rocked and Rolled McDonalds like Westly Willis. Tony Ortega danced for our last song. That was rockin, as well.
---------------------------
April 7th- We just finished recording today. The new CD sounds REEEALLLY REALLY good. The quality is great, thanks to Eugene, and the songs sound really good. We've had a lot of time to work on them. We'll have em around for shows and such. You can find out how to get a hold of one, just go to the Merch section on this page. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MANDIE
----------------------------
April 6th- We woke up....we recorded...we ate burger king...they forgot Nick's tacos so he complained....we left...we'll do it again tomaro.
----------------------------
Mandie's Birthday is comming up...April 7th. She's gonna be 17. poke her
----------------------------
April 5th- We played at some kids house in Hacienda Heights. I'd say we played really well, just there wasn't much of a crowd. It was kinda dead. However; I did get a ton of compliments. The fact that they had a trampoline only made it better. Before the show, however, Mandie was in need of a ride...so she called Mike. That was OK...but MARK needed a ride too. Mark lives in Rancho Cucamunga....we were supposed to be at Dave's for practice at 4 but didn't get there till 6. Mark bought us dinner. Bwahahahaha.
----------------------------
March 25th-
Al Capps Show....we've played better. I think we may of beaten ourselves up too much cuz we screwed up a lot. First, we set up over in an area that we werent supposed to....so after we're into our 2nd song, the coffee shop lady came out and said "you gotta move over there" So we took 10 minutes to relocate and it was ok after that. We messed up a few times, but we can't be perfect every time, right? We havent played in a while. I'm watching the video tape from tonight and we actually sound really good. We got a good response and I'm outta demos. Mark really needs to shut up. Thank you all of the other bands and all of the people that showed up! It's greatly appreciated! Despite the interuptions and musical flaws here and there, we still rocked the place.

March 9th-
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESSICA!!!
Okay, so this girl Jessica just turned 16 and she e-mailed us to play for her party. Apparently she found us through our MP3.com site. In any event, we rocked that party so hard. The best part was that some of the girls KNEW THE LYRICS!!!
It was the best we've ever played, I think. We even covered Lemonade by Tsunami Bomb...but we only knew the first line so that's all we played... There was about 25-30 people there...Mandie even did a head count. Nick was happy cuz there were a lot of girls. We hope to see the most of them at our upcomming show at Al Capp's on the 25th. If anyone out there would like to have FPFJ play for their party, bartmitsfa, wedding, or any other social gathering we'll be more than happy to!
------------------------------------------------------------------------
February 24th- Mike called Mandie up at noon
Mike: Hey, should we practice today?
Mandie: Sure
Mike : ok, but we can't have it at my house
Mandie: ok...we can have it here
>Mandie calls the rest of the band for practice at 2. Mike doesn't show up...2:15 we get a phone call
Mike: hey...I have to baby sit my sister
Mandie: NooOoOOoOooo!!
So ya, the rest of the day was pretty kick back. Mark brought over a whinnie the pooh that was being eaten by a frog. It resembled Nick, so...we refered to it as "little nick" or "Nick Jr." haha. We actually played very well.
Mandie made waffles for Nick and Dave...she put Curious George fruit snacks in Nick's. He liked it. We suggest you try it! Mark ordered pizza "Hello Pizza!" It came and we ate it. mmmm...hello pizza. Then, outta no place...Mike showed up in Mandie's drive way. WHOA! We were all "ok, cool" so we started playing, but sounded like crud cuz Mike was around...ok, I'm Joking...dont get mad Mike!!!
What else what else....
We're on the verge of finishing 3 NEW songs.
At the end of the day...we all mocked the ex-boyfriend song
"I still git it on I still git it on I still git it on waaaaa" and it's funny!
----------------------
Febuary 18th-
Mike called practice for noon...Mandie showed up at 12:20...Nick and Dace came at about 1 and MARK showed up at 4!!! So we put him in the dog kennel and rolled him down the street.
Mandie and Nick got into a fist fight.
Mandie: Nick, you're al talk!
Nick: Shut up! Let's go punk!!
::battle begins::
oh ya, we got word that we're going to play with Caffienated Superheros on March 25th at Al Capps in Anaheim. More info comming soon on the shows page. Weève been trying to write new songs...so that we donèt sound like crud at shows...when we get shows...not like we don't sound bad already...
Nick: shut up Mandie!!
---------------------
Febuary 10th- We just had one of our better rehearsals. Mandie was actually heard today thanks to Dave's knowledge of amplifying sound and junk. We ordered pizza and tipped the delivery boy our demo. He was cool. We listened to a 15 minute song about this kid who got scratched in the eye by a kitty and how he killed the cat but then realized that cats have 9 lives and the story goes on and on...Nick ripped off a megacorperation. Mike had a headache. Mark...Mark likes saussage on his pizza. Dave didn't share the bread sticks. Mandie is on the verge of dying her hair blue.
--------
The site has a new look :)
--------
A new member??? Yes! And his name is Mark...he's so convenient, he even fits into the dog kennel.
---------
Mandie got a hair cut.
---------
The Stageworks show was awesome! Thanks to all of you that came out and supported us and the other bands. It looks like we're going to start writing some new material and play in some coffe shop type places this month..
